The Very Hungry Caterpiller
Do you have the Very Hungry Caterpiller book at home? Read it with your child and work on counting, naming fruits, what/where questions, sequencing the story, qualitative and emotional concepts-big, small, hungry, sick, healthy, along with temporal concepts such as first, last, before, after, next and days of the week!

You can also make a fun activity and print the pictures from the book here https://www.dltk-teach.com/books/hungrycaterpillar/ and put a hole in each food with a hole punch and have the child be interactive during the reading of the book by threading a piece of yarn through each hole as the caterpillar makes his way through the foods in the book. There are so many fun ways to teach with this book! Enjoy!
